Northside Psychiatry is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality, cost effective medical care. We accept all major credit cards. We require a credit/debit card on file when setting up an appointment time. Payments by check may be made payable to "Northside Psychiatry, PLLC".

Blue Cross and Blue Shield
Prior approval (if required) from your insurance company must be completed before your visit. Please call your insurance company to help determine your coverage as well as your deductible.
Copays are sometimes a fixed amount or they may also be a co-insurance which is a percentage of what is billed.
It is your responsibility to know and to pay your co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible at the time of your visit. Your insurance company will still be billed to validate your copay or deductible. Any amount not covered by your insurance will be billed to you.
We are also able to see patients that are out of network if they have out-of-network benefits. Please check with your insurance directly for your plan's out-of-network benefits, your deductible, and copay/co-insurance. For example, out-of-network benefits means that your plan may cover half of the cost of your visit. Every plan is different so please check with your insurance
Missed Appointments or No Shows
Please do not miss your appointment as the time will be reserved for you. Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 working hours in advance.
As is the standard of practice in this area, if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 working hours notice, you will be charged for that time. The fee for a missed intake is $300.00 and a missed follow up appointment is $125.00.
Please note your insurance will not cover a missed appointment.
Weekends and Holidays do not count as normal business hours.
For example, if your appointment is on a Monday at 2:00 pm, we must be notified by the Friday prior by 2:00 pm in order to fall within the 24 working hour cancellation policy.
Lateness: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to an appointment it will be considered a late cancellation / missed appointment and you will be rescheduled for another time.
We understand that sometimes it is just not possible to keep an appointment, and we will always listen and record the circumstances for the postponement or cancellation. In certain circumstances the charge for the appointment time may be waived at our discretion, on a case by case basis.
There is a $35.00 fee for checks with insufficient funds.
If you need to be billed, there is a $5.00 billing fee per appointment, per billing cycle.
Balances over 30 days may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% per annum)
Balances past due for 90 days will incur a 40% finance charge on the entire balance and will be sent to an outside collections agency.
